Is TON original Thonet manufacturing?
The heritage of Michael Thonet lives to this day. His ingenious and elaborate technological method of producing bent furniture has been perfected constantly over the years. The, what is today, business company THONET is based in the German city of Frankenberg and also the Gebrüder Thonet in Vienna was reborn. In the Czech Republic it is the TON in Bystřice pod Hostýnem which became a significant European center of production of high-quality furniture of bent wood, which is the place where in 1862 the first units of the legendary chair No. 14 were produced and still are.
Which chairs are suitable for restaurants and homes?

Do I need to upholster my chairs with my own fabric?
If you are unable to choose any cover from our upholstery assortment, you can send your own cover to upholster your chairs (COM). TON, a. s. reserves the right to reject it due to unsuitability of such material. There is also wide selection of upholstery fabrics from local suppliers in our showroom in Richmond Hill, ON to choose from. If you wish, we can make chairs without any cover, with only a foam padding glued to them.
How do I clean and maintain my furniture?

What material is used for your products?
All chairs and coat stands are made of solid beech wood. As for tables, you can choose between table tops made of solid beech wood, MDF boards or laminated chipboards.
What if I need a different table size?
By prior agreement with you, we are able to manufacture a table from our offer with a different table top size (according to your proposal). We reserve the right to reject any such proposal, which we cannot carry out due to design limitations.
